We currently live in a time where sickness runs rampant in the world and we have all had our lives affected by it. We at Saddleman are no different; we have also felt the effects of the COVID19 virus. While many businesses have shut down, but Saddleman has done its best to stay open to some capacity during these trying times. While our facilities were marked as essential we have kept our doors open, but have taken steps to insure that, we comply with safety measures for not only all of our employees, but also the public’s health. Saddleman has made changes in their facilities and how Saddleman’s employees go about their daily work.

Saddleman started with allowing whatever employees that were able to work remotely to work from home keeping themselves in isolation while still having work to do. Saddleman’s customer service is all working remotely allowing Saddleman to “keep their doors” open even at the worst of this pandemic. The remote staff is working daily on getting answers to all the customers about their either current orders that are yet to ship or support for people who already have seat covers from Saddleman. During this difficult time, Saddleman is still there for you. While some employees cannot work remotely Saddleman also offers flexible work hours for those employees that have responsibilities at home like childcare.

While Saddleman’s production team is in the facilities working there has been a few strategies put into place to avoid spreading of the COVID19 virus. For the workers that are not remote and need to come into the office for work Saddleman has adhered to social distancing rules and has increased the distance between workers, with a mandatory 6 foot distance at all times. With less contact, there is less chance to spread anything, while still maintaining a positive work experience. In an effort to keep all staff feeling safe, they are all required to wear face while at Saddleman’s facilities.

Saddleman’s efforts are not limited to only trying to keep the workers safe, along with facemasks all staff are required to wear disposable gloves in an attempt to keep all orders as sterile as possible, in an attempt to keep all of Saddleman’s customers as safe as possible. From the point, the fabric arrives and is cut or sown, every handler is wearing both facemasks and disposable gloves. Any new shipment that arrives at the factory is automatically put in “quarantine” in order for not only Saddleman’s staff to be safe, but to make sure that all products that are leaving our facilities are safe and clean.

While Saddleman is making every effort to keep our customers safe, we are also making every effort to keep our employees safe and healthy, but on occasion people still develop symptoms or feel unwell. For the staff that feels any need they are able to take time off to recuperate as Saddleman is offering their staff extended sick days and leave time. Saddleman is making every effort to promote safety in our workplace and we hope that extends outwards and our customers feel all safer for it.
